Look at those Snappers Ralph!

At certain times in the Spring or early Summer  Pargo (Red Snapper)  school up and spawn just off shore in the Baja.  Schools of hundreds of 15 to 30lb Pargo are within casting distance of an angler, especially in the rocky areas.  These two 15lb fish were in a group of 25 or 30 fish that schooled on the sand and literally humped the water up a foot high behind the Sebile Splasher I threw at them.  This is one of the new Salt and Sun Series lures that are really strong and up to the task of fighting powerful fish!   Wesley Brough, surf caster extroirdinare, took me to the rocks near his Cabo home to catch these beauties.   We landed 17 fish from 15- 35lbs this morning and lost about as many!  Wow what a day!!!
